Completed - We would like to inform you that the planned Frankfurt Cloud Infrastructure Migration, originally scheduled for 18 July 2026, has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Previously, we announced the upcoming migration of the Frankfurt cloud infrastructure to a new Data Center. As part of this activity, customer virtual machines were scheduled for migration within specific maintenance windows, and an API maintenance window was also planned as part of the overall migration process.

Due to the postponement, the following activities will not take place on 18 July 2026:

- Customer virtual machines will not be migrated.
- API maintenance will not be performed.
- No service degradation or maintenance-related interruptions are expected.

The Frankfurt cloud infrastructure will continue operating as normal until the migration is rescheduled. We will provide further communication once a new migration date has been confirmed.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this change and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Scheduled - As we informed you in the past, we are going to migrate the Frankfurt cloud infrastructure from our current data center to a new data center facility.

We are planning to live-migrate customer VMs and data in stages in order to minimize any service interruption. There will be no changes to the existing network topology, meaning your IPs, VLANs, and networking configuration will remain unchanged throughout the migration process. The URL of the WebApp will also remain the same.

The migration is scheduled to happen on the 18th of July. In an email that will follow this one shortly, you will receive another notification with the title “Host Maintenance” and the exact maintenance window when your machine will be migrated.

The migration will be like a regular host maintenance for you: any running machines will be live-migrated to another host. Only in the event of an unsuccessful live migration, we will stop the VM and manually power it on on another compute node.

EXPECTED IMPACT:
After your machine is migrated, it is expected to experience service degradation. For the network, we do not expect significant degradation on both public and private networks. However, for storage operations, we expect degraded performance that may fluctuate around 20%. The impact will start after the machine is migrated and will continue until the end of the migration process.

During the migration, we will also migrate our API infrastructure.

API Maintenance Start: 2026-07-18 11:00 UTC ; 2026-07-18 13:00 CEST

During the maintenance, customers will not be able to perform any calls to the API, directly or through the WebApp, for the duration of the maintenance. Also, a temporary interruption of the WebApp interface will occur.
